e-SHRAM Card

An e-SHRAM card, also known as an Electronic-Self Help Group for Rural Advancement and Micro Enterprises (SHRAM) card, is a digital identification card that is issued by the Government of India to micro-entrepreneurs and small farmers. The card is intended to provide these individuals with access to various government schemes and benefits, as well as to help them access credit from banks and other financial institutions.

The card is issued by the Ministry of Rural Development and is based on the Aadhaar number. The e-SHRAM card contains information about the holder's name, address, photograph, and details about their micro-enterprise or small farm, such as the type of enterprise and the size of the landholding.

The card is used as a proof of identification and also as a proof of landholding for availing benefits under various government schemes. Also, it makes the process of availing credit from banks and financial institutions easier.

It is mandatory for entrepreneurs and small farmers to get their e-SHRAM card in order to avail the benefits of the scheme.
